Fantastic Mr. Fox is a delightfully eccentric 2009 stop-motion animated comedy-caped film directed by Wes Anderson, adapted from Roald Dahl‘s beloved children’s novel.
The story follows Mr. Fox (voiced by George Clooney), a charismatic, quick-witted wild animal who turns away from a life of dangerous poultry thievery to become a respectable newspaper columnist for the sake of his wife, Felicity (voiced by Meryl Streep). However, the lingering allure of his old rebellious ways proves too strong to resist.
